Delete your RemidiBox account
You can delete your account at any time, from the app or without it. Deleting it removes your account and what you sent us. It cannot be undone.
Two ways to do it
In the app — immediate
- Open RemidiBox and go to Settings.
- Under Account, tap your name.
- Scroll to the bottom, tap Delete account, and confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out on every device.
Without the app — by email
Write to privacy@remidibox.com with the subject "Delete my RemidiBox account", from the email address you signed in with. If you signed in with a phone number, include that number.
So that nobody can delete someone else's account, we reply to the address on the account to confirm before deleting. Once you confirm, the account is deleted within 30 days, and we tell you when it is done.
What is deleted
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your name, email address and phone number | Deleted |
| Your password (stored only as a one-way hash) | Deleted |
| Linked Google or Apple sign-in | Deleted |
| Signed-in devices and sessions | Deleted — every device is signed out |
| Feedback and problem reports you sent, signed in or from your address | Deleted |
| Your terms and analytics choices | Deleted with the account |
| Unused verification codes sent to you | Deleted |
What is kept, and for how long
| Data | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-in activity (for example "signed in", "account deleted") with an internal account number only — no name, email or phone | Spotting abuse and fixing sign-in problems | 180 days, then deleted |
| A note in our admin log that an account was deleted, with the internal account number — no contact details | Accountability for actions taken by our team | Kept |
| Rate-limit counters based on a one-way hash of your network address | Stopping repeated password guessing | 24 hours, then deleted |
None of what is kept can be used to identify you once the account is gone.
Your medicines
Medicines, schedules, dose history and family members are never sent to our servers, so there is nothing of that kind for us to delete. They live only on your phone. To remove them, uninstall RemidiBox, or clear its storage in your phone's app settings. If you made a backup file with Settings → Backup & restore, it stays wherever you saved it — delete that file yourself.
