1. About these terms
These terms explain how you may use the RemidiBox app and what we keep for your account. RemidiBox ("we", "us") provides the app. Using the app needs a free account, and by ticking "I accept the Terms & privacy" you agree to them.
2. A reminder and planning tool
- RemidiBox helps you remember what you set up: medicines, appointments, tests, workouts and measurements. You decide what to remind yourself of and when.
- Follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions, and check that the schedules you enter match them. Confirm appointment times and preparation (such as fasting) with the clinic or lab.
- Reminders depend on your phone's settings (battery saving, silent mode, permissions, the phone being on). We work hard to make them reliable; for critical medicines, keep a second reminder as well.
3. Your data stays with you
Everything you enter in the app is stored on your phone. Backups go where you choose: a file on your phone, Google Drive, or another app, and a password-protected backup opens only with your password.
Signing out erases this data from the phone, so the next person to sign in starts fresh. The app offers to make a backup first, and you can restore it after signing in again.

5. Services that help us run RemidiBox
- Cloudflare runs our server and database, with data encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Resend sends our verification and password-reset emails (your address and the email itself), and Brevo sends them when Resend can't.
- Google Firebase provides app analytics and crash reports, as described on the Analytics page.
- Google or Apple, if you sign in with them, tell us your account identifier and, if you allow it, your email.
Cloudflare and Google are US companies certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and they process data for us under data processing agreements with standard contractual clauses. Brevo is based in the EU. Your data is used only to run RemidiBox, and shared only with these services or when the law requires it.
6. Advertising
RemidiBox shows no advertising today. If we add it, we'll update these terms first and ask for your permission wherever your country requires it.
7. Your choices and rights
- See and correct your details under Account.
- Delete your account any time under Account → Delete account, or at remidibox.com/delete-account. Your account data is removed from our server straight away (activity records keep only an anonymous id), and the app erases your data from the phone as it does when you sign out, after offering a backup.
- Turn analytics on or off any time in Settings → Privacy & support.
- Get a copy of your data, or raise a concern, by writing to hello@remidibox.com. We reply within 30 days.
- You can also contact the data protection authority in your country (in India, the Data Protection Board of India; in the EU, your national authority).
8. Keeping your account safe
- Use a password you don't use elsewhere and keep your phone locked. Keep the codes we email you to yourself; we will never ask for them.
- For extra protection, turn on two-step verification under Account.
- We lock password sign-in after repeated wrong attempts, limit requests from one network, and can disable accounts that are misused.
- If you think someone else used your account, change your password and use "Sign out of all devices", then tell us.
9. Acceptable use
Don't try to break into accounts or our systems, send spam through the app, or create accounts in someone else's name. We may suspend accounts that do.
10. Age
You must be 18 or older to create an account, or have permission from a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms for you. Parents can keep a child's reminders as a family member without the child having an account.
11. Availability and liability
The app and account service are provided "as is". We may change or pause features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for missed doses or other losses caused by relying on reminders, by phone settings, or by events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
12. Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update the version date above and ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in. You can delete your account at any time.
