Analytics
Version 2026-10-22 · Contact: hello@remidibox.com
In short: RemidiBox uses Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to see which features people
use, where they get stuck, and when the app crashes. We use it only to improve RemidiBox. It works with a random ID created for
the app on your phone, without the advertising ID, and it records what you do in the app (for example "added a reminder"),
never what you type.
When it's on
- In the EU, the UK and Switzerland: analytics starts only after you tick "Help improve RemidiBox" when you create your account, or turn it on in Settings.
- Everywhere else: analytics is on as part of the Terms & privacy, and you can turn it off any time in Settings.
- Crash reports follow the same choice.
What is recorded
- App version, phone model, Android/iOS version, language and screen size
- Country or city, worked out by Google from your internet address
- Which screens you open and which features you use, how long sessions last, and when a step is started or finished
- Crashes and errors, with where in the app they happened
- A random installation ID created by Firebase
Who receives it
Google (Google LLC / Google Ireland) processes it for us under its data processing terms, keeps it for 14 months, then deletes it. Google Signals and ads personalisation are switched off for RemidiBox. Google Privacy Policy
Changing your mind
- Settings → Privacy & support → Help improve RemidiBox. Turning it off stops it straight away, and every feature works the same.
